The Brief

Dishonesty and discrimination run rampant in the funding landscape for early-stage companies.

The Sieo team has experienced this first hand. In our first few months we were dragged along by an investment group that pulled the rug out last minute and never responded again. The idea for RateMyInvestor (RMI) was born from that experience and has since been a passion project for the team.

Our Solution

RateMyInvestor is being created and built through our co-found program by the core team here at Sieo along with a few other talented individuals.

Brand and Business Strategy

Our goal with the brand and business strategy of RMI is to create a go-to-platform for not only rating but also discovering and interacting with investors. RMI will be launched in Summer 2018 and start putting the power back in the hands of entrepreneurs.

Our launch plan and growth strategy for RateMyInvestor will be centered around building a sense of community within the user base. It is our hope that this platform will not be focused on bashing and blaming, but instead on collaboration and constructive criticism. If executed correctly, our team feels this platform has the power to make the entire startup ecosystem a better place for founders and funders.
