Petra Griffith

Petra Griffith launched Wedbush Ventures to invest in the next generation of technology companies solving big market problems. Having helped build many firsts - the first online printing software, first fitness wearable, first native ads - and launched a venture banking division for a regional bank, Petra understands the strategic and creative mindset necessary to narrow in on a product’s core features for successful market fit execution.

Her past leadership to product, strategy, marketing, and operations teams at established and startup organizations like Netflix, Yahoo!, and 24 Hour Fitness makes Petra a coveted product strategy ally.  Petra holds a BA in International Politics & Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from London Business School

Minnie Ingersoll

Minnie Ingersoll is a partner at TenOneTen and host of the LA Venture podcast.  TenOneTen is a venture fund based in LA investing in early stage software and data companies.  

Prior to TenOneTen, Minnie was the COO and co-founder of recently public Shift Technologies (Nasdaq : SFT), an online marketplace for used cars. Minnie started her career as an early product manager at Google. In her spare time, Minnie surfs baby waves and raises baby people.



Guy Kamgaing

Guy Kamgaing, a Los Angeles-based Cameroonian entrepreneur, is the Founder and CEO of StarNews Mobile and a 20-year veteran of the African mobile space.

Guy started his career by supplying network equipment to mobile operators and ISPs in Africa and other developing markets. He later entered the Value Added Services space by founding Mobile-XL, a mobile SaaS company, and creating the XL Browser, the first mobile browser using SMS as a content bearer, before data and smartphones became mainstream. He then decided in 2015 to work on the creation of a platform to deliver African content at an affordable price to consumers. He launched StarNews in 2017, and after only 9 months of pilot deployment in Côte d'Ivoire in partnership with the operators MTN and Moov, StarNews Mobile reached over one million subscribers. Guy holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a mechanical engineering degree from France.

Sarah Millar

Sarah is the President of Diversity VC US, a non-profit organization focused on increasing representation, equity, and inclusion in venture capital. She joined the Diversity VC team in 2018 to spearhead their first international chapter in the US. She currently serves as the Director of Virtual Power Plant Operations at OhmConnect, and previously spent five years with City Light Capital, a venture capital firm that invests early in impactful companies. She is also a Venture Partner with Republic, a platform providing access to startup, real estate, crypto, and video game investments.

Willis Wilson

Willis joined Diversity VC US in January 2022 to manage the development of Diversity VC and SIEO’s upcoming report on diversity in venture capital and serves as the Director of Investment & Portfolio Management at ICA, an impact investing fund based in Oakland, CA. Previously, he served as the Investment and Growth Strategist at Alpine Software Group (ASG) and a Consultant within Paradigm (ASG’s LegalTech vertical). Willis earned his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley where he was a quantitative researcher and active member of the UC Berkeley entrepreneurship and technology community. Both domestically and abroad, Willis has advised early stage startups on building strong business models, go-to-market strategies, accessing capital and exit opportunities.

Raychel Espiritu

Raychel Espiritu is a Los Angeles native with over 12 years of experience in digital marketing. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Cal State University, Northridge, and has a wide range of experience in working with large corporate brands, small businesses, marketing agencies, tech start-ups and a venture firm.

Raychel specializes in business development, community building, and digital marketing. Her current role as Venture Outreach Manager at The Alliance for Southern California Innovation has her helping match leading series-A-ready start-ups with institutional investors. Meditation is a big part of her personal development and she loves being a connector in the SoCal startup ecosystem.
